Applewood has just finished week 6 of online teaching. We are so proud of all our amazing children who have embraced this new learning platform with such gusto. Thanks to our teachers who spend hours preparing lessons and our parents who help their children. Our Foundation phase and Pre primary children's parents send in lots of photos. Thank you very much. Week 3 of remote learning has been a hive of activity and learning. All our classes follow an adapted learning time table which includes teaching of all the core subjects as well as Xhosa, Art, Physical Education, Drama and Music. This week we celebrated Earthday with our Grade 7 class presenting lessons to each grade and setting them a fun and educational task, remotely.
